About The T/E Sharks
Formed in 2016, the T/E Sharks is a Pennsylvania registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization and currently consists of two highly competitive boys basketball teams -- one 9th grade and one 6th grade The teams compete in AAU basketball tournaments and leagues in the Fall and Spring seasons. The Sharks program is open to rising basketball players in the Philadelphia region. Participants on the teams are selected through player evaluations prior to the start of each season.
Our Mission
To provide rising basketball players in the Philadelphia area with the opportunity to compete at their highest ability level in their grade. We focus on the fundamentals, conditioning, teamwork, and sportsmanship, while also having fun and enjoying the sport of basketball.
An AAU Member Club
The T/E Sharks is a member of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). The AAU has been raising champions for more than a century. Since its inception in 1888, the AAU has set the standard for amateur sports in the United States with one goal in mind: “Sports For All, Forever.” It is more than a motto – it has been the focus and drive of AAU for 130 years and counting for sports in the United States and throughout the world.
